When life hands you lemons, make lemonade. One of the worst seasons of my life birthed purpose in me that I may not have found otherwise. Walking through infidelity has been the most painful thing I have experienced in my life. Sure, I’ve lost love ones, walked through illness with friends and family, and even dealt with the woes of lack. However, none of it compares to the grief of infidelity. Nonetheless, there is healing and joy on the other side. I can’t even explain the joy I have today. You too can experience joy and peace like none other.
It starts with FORGIVENESS. Forgiveness is the basis of God’s nature, His grace, and power. It is important to forgive because it releases the individual from the prison of your heart and brings about freedom. Forgiveness positions you to be a benefactor in more ways than one. Is it required? Some would say no. However, I’d contend that it is required. That is if you want to live a life of peace and joy. I encourage you not to forsake your benefits package by trying to be a “right” fighter and holding on to unforgiveness. Let the offense go.
